Hey hey, 

So yesterday I didn’t work out because I was just feeling exhausted. I believe in sleep over working out. Yall have to cut me some slack since I’m about 30 weeks pregnant. Today, however, I did two workouts because I missed yesterday. Today’s lifts included biceps, triceps, shoulders, and chest. I think today helped that I got to eat before I actually lifted. My triceps were burning within the first exercise I did. It was crazy how quickly that happened. Also my biceps got sore and seriously started to burn. Overall my workout went well even though I did two. I also walked for forty minutes and did a five minute cool down.

Hey Yall, 

Yesterday was the fourth of July! I didn’t work out at all. However, I did laundry, played with my pups, and went swimming. I also hung out with my hubby in the evening by going out and just walking around the mall. Yes, I realize that sounds very teenager like but there’s no air in the house so… We really only went to two stores in the mall, so it’s not like we really just walked around the mall. The day before I worked and celebrated the fourth with my family. I believe in sleep for days I know I’ll be up late. The past few days have been fun and busy with no working out. 

Today, however, was leg day. Because there is no air I actually had to go get something to drink while I lifted. Generally the workout room is cold enough that I can get by without water. Today was not that day. As I was doing my lunges I felt like I just didn’t have the energy for lifting like I used to. It could be because it was early in the morning or because it was warmer than usual or that I rested a few extra days in between. However, I’m pretty certain it’s because I pregnant. Even simple things like walking up the stairs are starting to feel like more work than they used to be. It really is getting old fast on how quickly I feel out of breath. I realize it’s because I have a child growing that is pushing my organs around, but still I like being able to breathe easily. Today even just walking around the yard I felt like it was a struggle. I’m sure part of it was the heat but still. Oh well, I I’m love with this little boy already and can’t wait to meet him. I know he’s really going to start wearing me out once he’s born.

Hey Yall, 

Today was back and abs day. I barely got up for it before work I’m order to lift. However, once I got started I was glad I did. For my lifts I did wide grip lat pull down, dumbbell bent over row, barbell bent over row, oblique crunches, dumbbell side bend, and weight plate Russian twists. My back muscles definitely felt the workout today. Tomorrow thankfully I don’t have a whole lot going on, so I can sleep in. I’ll at least sleep in as much as I can. It is very rare I sleep past 8 in the morning anymore. Really, I’ve never been able to sleep in but still I can hope. I didn’t walk today because I got over my steps in at work. I also walked a lot and very rarely just sat down and rested. It was a good day today and I super thankful it’s Friday.

Hey hey, 

Guess what guys? It’s almost the end of the week! For whatever reason, this week has been long and tiring. I think part of it is I didn’t get an adequate amount of sleep during the weekend. Anyways, I almost decided to sleep and not get up and lift. However, I figured we don’t have a lot of plans for this weekend and I could take a nap. Really my goal is to get in the pool, but we will see how that actually goes. 

Today I only lifted in the morning. It was chest and shoulders day. For whatever reason when I first looked I was thinking chest and back. It was a little confusing as I kept doing my weights, and it was working my shoulders and not my back. My shoulder was sore from the shot I got the other day. However, by the end of the day both my shoulders already felt sore. My lifts today consists of incline barbell bench press, dumbbell incline fly with a twist, bench press machine, dumbbell Arnold press, dumbbell shoulder shrug, and dumbbell bent over delt raise. I think my body is getting used to the whole being up early and lifting, which is nice.

Hey hey, 

Today I lifted in the morning before work. I almost didn’t because it was really hard to get up. It was rainy and gloomy, which didn’t help. However, I still got up and worked out. Today’s workout was for biceps and triceps. The lifts included standing tricep extensions, dumbbell standing triceps kickback, barbell curl, dumbbell hammer curls, and dumbbell seated palms up curls. It was a challenge to finish the workout because I woke up hungry and I generally lift before I get ready for work. 

Today I walked after I got home after work. I was planning on it originally but wouldn’t have been that upset if I didn’t. However, one of my clients today was quiet the handful. I decided I for sure was going to walk to release some stress. It was only thirty minutes because I had no desire to kill myself. Especially since the crazy weather was giving me a headache. Also I had walked quiet a bit with my client today.

Hey Yall, 

I didn’t work out on Monday because I had a long day at work. Today I only lifted, since I had a doctor’s appointment in the morning and it was my long one. However, I still went over for my steps today, which is always good. 

My lifting today was for legs and abs. I switched up my exercises and changed my what all my lifts were. One was to prevent me from getting bored and secondly was because I’m now in third trimester. My lifts today were dumbell lunges, barbell squats, seated barbell calf raises, hip lifts, planks, side planks, and dumbell side bend. While technically the barbell is over my weight limit, it’s only by like 5 pounds. Each time I did a set for squats I changed what I was doing. For instance, I did normal squats, wide stance squats, and then narrow. All my lifts went well today, which was great considering I didn’t work out yesterday.

Hey Yall, 

I feel like this week has been crazy long. Some weeks tend to just feel longer than others. I ended up lifting in the morning before my training in the morning. It was biceps and back day. While it was a slight struggle to lift in the morning, I still managed to get through. My biceps felt the lactic acid and I’m sure I’ll be feeling it tomorrow. It can be challenging to feel anything for working out my back because of the weight lifting limit. I have to get a lot of reps in for the lat pull down exercise. I’m impressed I managed to finish to the workout, since it was early in the morning.

Hey, hey

Today my lifting was for chest and triceps. I increased reps and the amount of weight I several different exercises. If I’m remembering correctly, this is the first time in awhile that I’ve done triceps and chest not early in the morning. I feel like that helped me out today. It was wonderful to be able to increase my reps for incline dumbbell bench press. While it was only by two reps, it’s still more than I was doing. My triceps by the end I could feel the lactic acid building. It was a little painful, but hey at least I know I’m working out those muscles.

Today I walked after my lifting. It went pretty well considering I walked yesterday, and also went over my steps. I went over my steps today as well (go me). For the most part I had no aches and pains. I mean I got a little distracted by big flying bug in the area, so that helped me not really focus on walking. Seriously, it was gross but never stopped moving so I could not kill it. The last two minutes of my cool down I got some pain that hurt pretty good. Eventually I figured out that if I made sure I had perfect posture, it went away. I am not sure if I was really starting to walk weird or not, but at least I figured it out. Plus after that I never had any issues and finished without any pain.

Hey Yall, 

Today I had work later in the day. It’s not really getting me into the habit of waking up early and working out, but at least I did. My weights were for legs and abs today. I increased my weight for my leg workouts on pretty much every exercise. The only ones that didn’t increase were my hip exercises. I increased my reps for squats, which basically is increasing my weight because I’m at the max weight I can lift at this point. I felt pretty good for lifting more weight. My ab exercises I even increased weight on. I mean I know I’m going to need all the help I can. As for my planks, I feel my shoulders getting tired before anything else. I’m not sure if this is because my form is off or my shoulders are just that weak. Who really knows. Next week since I’ll be in third trimester I’m changing up my workout anyways. 

My walk today was for an hour. I only went at a 3.5mph speed. My watch said I still went over 4 miles, so I’ll go with it. It was easier to go slower and I didn’t feel as many aches and pains. I figured if I have time for the hour walk I’ll walk slower. However, if it is a shorter walk then I’m going to try to walk faster. We will see how that all works out for me as time goes on and I get further into this pregnancy. I still managed to go twice my goal steps today, so go me. My goal steps aren’t as high as they are when I was running, but hey I’m still going to take it.
